When there’s something strange … on your Pinterest board … who you gonna call? PINBUSTERS!!!
I am a huge fan of Pinterest, but I have a healthy degree of skepticism as well. Can you really cut glass using string (and keeping all of your digits)? Did that crazy coupon lady really feed a family of 6 for a month with $0.52? What is mod podge and why are people obsessed with it? How in the heck are these pantries so organized?!? These are just a few of the questions that keep me awake at night.
I am determined to prove or debunk these claims, one Pin at a time. Below are links to all of the Pins I have tackled. Feel free to leave a comment with a request, and give a link to the Pin you wish to have tested!
love reading through all of these – I often wonder about my pinterest fails & it was just me or the directions
I kind of want to “pin:” this page. Would that be all right with you?
Of course!
Thanks for all the time AND money you are saving me by trying these first!

I remember seeing a pin on pinterest for “edible glitter” It said to take sugar, mix with food coloring and BAKE it at 350 for ten minutes. HAHAHAH UMMMMM pretty sure sugar MELTS in an oven.
My friend was gullible enough to try that. Needless to say, there was a big mess to clean up after. (Red melted sugar everywhere!)
Love your blog. Would you test this one http://media-cache-ec3.pinimg.com/originals/a2/bd/04/a2bd04a8c3fae7c881147f9d682f1bd5.jpg
Beverly, I’d love to, but I cannot find a link to the site giving any instructions. I found that picture on Pinterest too, but the link was only to the picture. I am intrigued, though! I will keep looking, but let me know if you find it.
Try this one :). http://pinterest.com/pin/36028865739501809/
HAHA, I love it! I have a friend coming in town this weekend, and I may just turn her into a guinea pig. Hopefully she doesn’t read this before she hits the road, or she may change her mind. Thank you!
Would love for you to bust these:

Hahaha idk if i was happier someone tried and found all these to not work or the pure lol fest I got from your stories.
Found your site while looking for the so-called colored lemons on pinterest. I’m so glad someone is doing this so I don’t waste my time & money. I will definitely bookmark your site. A big thank you from a single mom who doesn’t have a minute or dollar to waste on some of these DIY claims.
This is amazing!! I just tried the mason diy jar as air refresher too – and then found your blog! Can’t wait to see more pinbusters
